![]() ![]() **DIGITAL IMAGERY (Tony Slanec)
Semi-Evergreen to Dormant - 28 to 30 inches - Mid season - 5 to 5 ½ inch blooms - 4-way branching 20 to 25 buds
T156-97: ((Old King Cole x Friars Lantern) X Tet Lady Violet Eyes)
This flower was thought to be lost due to the extensive flooding that devastated the gardens over the last few years, but a small piece survived. A magenta-rose self with a variable patterned purple eye/watermark. In cooler temperatures it seems as if the watermark breaks into chalky hashes/bands separated by magenta purple. H. Digital Imagery's exemplary scapes are slightly S-curved and display bright colored blooms well above the foliage. Bred by Tony Slanec at Moldovan's Gardens, H. Digital Imagery has proven itself as a stellar garden plant and also an amazing breeder to say that it has been used extensively would be an understatement. This plant has proven itself to be a parent without parallel producing offspring with banded, patterned and broken eyes. It is one of the pollen parents to H. Piece of Sky, H. Midnight in Moscow, H. Crack of Dawn and H. Plato's Puzzle. Fertile both ways. It is a true joy to be able to introduce this daylily for Tony and we look forward to seeing many more stellar varieties from this talented breeder. $100.00
