I have a new respect for other hybridizers working with dark colors it reminds me of trying to paddle a canoe upstream. I mostly have stayed away from the darker colors until 2008. Now 30-40% of my seedlings are purples, lavender purples, reds, & rose reds. Most of us look at & see color a little different. When looking into a flower with color I want to see depth of color. Look ing into A KISS AT MIDNIGHT that's exactly what i see.
