The highest price daylily I ever bought was a Best Edge kid from another hybridizer. It was to short but had good color with a very green edge. The next generation was also short but I bloomed a beautiful lavender with a blend of an orange green edge so I bought English Lavender which had a 36" killer scape and crossed the two. Looking Into The Future is a soft lavender and slightly pink self. The edge is a pronounced bubbly cream color with a hint of gold. In the future I believe we will see different colored edges, finding that gold edges are very hard to change the color, so I feel" Looking Into The Future" is going to be important down the road for us.
