How could a daylily involving the marriage of both Steve and David Kirchoff's love of daylilies be anything but a winner?  To say that this daylily is vigorous would be an understatement as can be attested to by the photo of the fabulous scape and plant habit.  What is more amazing is that the picture was taken in a bed that has not been overly pampered as can be plainly seen.  Just imagine its potential in a bed that is well taken care of.   Wow!!!  Dan Robarts noted this daylily's branching to be like “an oak tree”.   What intrigues me the most about H. Love And Marriage is the faint cranberry rose eye that it presents against the stunning rose coloration of the flower.  Long ago Steve taught me that eyes, halos and patterns are interchangeable and, needless to say, I took his advise this year and brought H. Love And Marriage into our new patterned seedlings' bloodlines.  This was pretty much a no brainer given the pedigree, as it is a Vertical Horizon grandchild.  I'm dying to see what type of eyed and patterned seedlings will result from my crosses.  Thank you David for your contribution to this stellar flower.  Limited stock.$150.00 S.F.
