SALLY SUE'S FEATHERED BOA has been a star since the maiden bloom. Liz Salter saw it on first bloom and declared the daylily special. So I've kept my eye on it ever since her proclamation. The deep green throat draws you in from the soft maroon petals. To enhance the throat, there is bleed back veining from the darker maroon eye zone. SSFB has been a consistent all performer daylily year in and out. I was honored at the MCDS to be awarded best seedling in the show with SSFB. I must say that the competition was very stiff. SSBF beat out Jamie Gossard's seedlings! I'll have several introductions from SSFB in the future.
