 WONDERSTRUCK

J.Carpenter/McCutcheon

Dip. Dor 26” Dor. 8”
I am proud to introduce the crowd pleaser, H. ‘Wonderstruck.’ A wonderfully creamy pink, this dormant came to our garden in 2004 as a seedling purchased from Jack Carpenter. After numerous requests to purchase it, I contacted Jack and he agreed to allow me to introduce the seedling as a Carpenter/McCutcheon. Thank you Jack! The waxy substance, wide sepals, sparkling lime throat and undulating edges add to its allure. H. Wonderstruck is the perfect showpiece for the garden. A hybridizers note is that I believe this daylily will work into patterns. Careful observation and you can see a light red halo. Jamie Gossard observed this and was appreciative to aquire this grand daylily.
Fertile both ways.
